McCormick County is a county in South Carolina, United States. It is the smallest county by land area (359 square miles). The estimated population of the county according to the most recent US census data is 9,573. McCormick is the county seat and was named by the inventor Cyrus Hall McCormick. The town was known as “A Sportsman’s Paradise“.
